In this same vein, no longer can funding be independent of effective operational and management support.  IMC is an investment management company that vigorously identifies investment opportunities among small and mid-size companies primarily in the life sciences, technology and telecom sectors. 

Our investment model incorporates a multi-faceted approach targeting early-stage companies. Once engaged, we obtain Board representation to add name recognition, depth and knowledge. We maintain a vigorous role in daily operations. In this way, we carefully monitor strategic directives and ongoing tactics.

Quite often, the technology precedes the company. IMC is constantly researching new technologies ready to emerge from the lab. In this capacity, we collaborate with the Office of Technology and Licensing at institutional R&D facilities and academia to license technology in specific disease-states, medical devices and/or unique processes to ultimately commercialize the technology. IMC will build companies surrounding core technology. In this way, we not only share the risk, but also have a vested interest in seeing the company through its growth and success.
